Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann is looking to make a move for his former player Timo Werner from Chelsea, according to reports from MySportPlug.
Thomas Tuchel is also keen to allowing the German stay with the club as his ability helped them in some way during the season despite him not getting much of the goals needed.
Julian Nagelsmann is interested in making a move for Timo Werner as he want a reunion with the striker he worked with at RB Leipzig before he was eventually sold to Chelsea last summer.
The forward haven’t been able to replicate his good form after making the move to Stamford Bridge for a huge transfer fee and the Blues could be looking to cash out on him as they are also looking to sign Robert Lewandowski.
His lack of scoring goals have cost him regular playing time with the German national team as during the European Championship 2020 he didn’t start regularly like he always does during his days with RB Leipzig.
Chelsea striker Timo Werner is the subject of interest from Bayern Munich, according to reports coming from Football Insider with MYSPORTPLUG confirming the whole deal which could be impossible to happen.
New Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann is eager to reunite with the former RB Leipzig striker at Allianz Arena this summer as he is looking to breathe in some fresh air and young blood into the team that is filled with older players.
It has been suggested that Chelsea could cash in on Timo Werner, who only managed to score six goals in 35 Premier League outings in 2020-21 but Thomas Tuchel might be looking to keep him and hopes he picks up form.
With Bayern Interested in the move, Chelsea can use it to their advantage by getting Robert Lewandowski who is also a target but that could prove to be another headache as Bayern Munich won’t be willing to let go of a player like that.
The deal might prove hard to happen as the Bavarians won’t be thinking of going into a swap deal for the German and also if that would be the case of player exchange, The Blues would want to request for plus cash due to Timo Werner age.
