Chelsea CONFIRM Ben Chilwell Injury Length Until 2022 (Full Details)

Chelsea will have to deal with another problem as Ben Chilwell is set to miss out until next year 2022 after injury against Juventus, MySportPlug reporting.

The wing back was substituted in the Champions League game against Juventus after suffering from an attack which couldn’t see him continue the match that ended with the Blues winning 4-0.

Ben Chilwell is now unlikely to play until at least the New Year after undergoing tests on Wednesday which the length of his injury was confirmed as more troubles keep piling up for the Premier League side.

The defender was removed during the second half of the Chelsea’s 4-0 cruise against the Italian giants and was eventually replaced by Cesar Azpilicueta who finished off the remainder of the encounter.

The England defender had to be helped off the pitch by medical staff after sustaining the problem and appeared to be in serious pain as he left the pitch where game was going on in that night.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel expressed his concern over Chilwell ’s after the confirmation and revealed that he would be undergoing further tests to determine the severity of the injury.

After the test was done, Chelsea confirmed they will be without the player until next year which is a big problem adding to their list of injured players which keeps on growing further.

According to reports reaching us from The Telegraph, the England defender looks set to be out missing action for at least the rest of the year.

He is not expected to be back until at least January after the England international suffered potential anterior cruciate ligament damage which will keep him out of action during the busy December period.

This means Ben Chilwell will miss the crucial rivalry match between Chelsea Vs Manchester United this weekend with a host of other games scheduled to go on until next year January 2022.

Cesar Azpilicueta will have to play the position for now alongside on loan Atletico Madrid Saul Niguez who also can be deployed into that section as he has played there many time for his parent club.
