The staff and players of Chelsea were all in celebration mode as they claimed their second Champions League title after a 1-0 win over Man City, MySportPlug reports.
The atmosphere in Porto last night was filled with high intensity before the final whistle was blown by the referee give Blues the win.
Chelsea team are known for throwing a wild celebration in the dressing room as that was the case after winning the Uefa Champions League.
The game was an entertaining one despite the fact that just one goal was scored between the two teams who had so much firepower going forward.
Manchester City pressed very much but the good defending from Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger helped prevent an early goal which could have turned the game around.
Thiago Silva was replaced by Andreas Christensen who was injured in the first half due to a groan problem that resurfaced during the encounter.
Timo Werner was once again a handful but couldn’t make all his chance count after going forward but can’t just find a way to ensure he score any goal.
A moment of brilliance saw Mason Mount send a wicked defense splitting pass which saw Kai Havertz took the ball and finished off neatly to make it 1-0 for Chelsea.
Manchester City also had Kevin de Bruyne removed after he picked up a knock and couldn’t get up to continue the match with his teammates.
Christian Pulisic also was another player who could have made things happen but he couldn’t placed the ball well after beating Ederson.
Chelsea celebrated in grand style as they claimed the Uefa Champions League title with just half season of Thomas Tuchel being in charge.
This means their next season will be very busy as they will play the Uefa Super Cup against Villarreal and the FIFA World Club Cup as Champions of Europe.
