The visitors got within four early in the second quarter of the game which saw them showing some quality until the home side responded by scoring 11 straight to take the lead which stretched to 65-42 before the end of half time.
Power forward, DeMarcus Cousins had nine of his 11 points in the second which he hit a 3-pointer and got a steal and dunk as part of an 8-0 spurt for the home team who were ruthless in the game.
Third Quarter Report LA Clippers 27-29 LA Lakers
The visitors did performed well in the 3rd quarter as it was the only time they could command a lead which was already too late to cause any damage for their opponent who had things going their way.
The visitors managed to outscored the home team by 29-27 in the 3rd quarter, but couldn’t make a serious dent in the deficit which already saw them trailing by a long margin from half time.
Kuzma’s 3-pointer drew them within 17 early in the period, when Andre Drummond picked up his fourth and fifth fouls as that gave the much opening which they made good use of and claimed the quarter by 27-29 in their favor.
Fourth Quarter Report LA Clippers 26-23 LA Lakers
It was almost an evenly match last quarter which both teams show quality and dominance which all came to a difference of 3 points which saw Kuzma leading the visitors who could only manage 23 points.
Paul George was the star player who lead his side to victory by making sure he scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists while Kawhi Leonard claimed 15 points 8 rebounds and 6 assists to end things 118-94.
