Newcastle 3-4 Man City, Ferran Torres HITS Hattrick | MATCH REPORT

Man City recorded an impressive 3-4 win over Newcastle United as Ferran Torres scored a hat trick in a game which was filled with so much goals, MySportPlug reports.

First Half Report Newcastle United 2-2 Man City

Four goals were scored in an evenly balanced first-half encounter which both teams were able to make count going forward with loads of opportunities created.

A 25th-minute goal in the encounter saw Newcastle United took the lead through a lovely finish from Emil Krafth who was assisted by Jonjo Shelvey to make it 1-0 going forward.

Man City wing-back Joao Cancelo leveled things 1-1 in the 39th minute after an amazing teamwork effort saw Rodri setting up the former Juventus player for the goal.

Another goal was scored in the 42nd minute and this time it was thanks to a beautiful finish from Ferran Torres who gave his side the lead 1-2 as the game entered into the last few minutes.

A late penalty was awarded by VAR which saw the home side pulling back level 2-2 after Joelinton ensured he made no mistake in drawing his side into the encounter with 47 minutes played.

The referee called it to a close in the first half of the encounter which ended with Newcastle United 2-2 Man City, as both teams headed for the dressing room.

It started brightly with the visitors controlling the second half of the encounter which saw them doing more of the attacking against a good side.

Another penalty was awarded to Newcastle United which Joseph Willock failed to convert, but his second touch was to perfection as he made it 3-2 in the 62nd minute.

Man City once again responded without delay in the 63rd minute of the second half which saw Ferran Torres making it 3-3 from a good finish that restored thing to level terms.

A hat trick from the winger followed in the 66th minute with a solid finish as he gave his side the advantage which saw the scoreline turned to 3-4.

The match progressed without anything coming out except wasted opportunities as the game finished with Man City claiming a 3-4 win against Newcastle United.
