It is official and confirmed that Thomas Tuchel will be staying with Chelsea until 2024 after signing a new contract with the club, MySportPlug reports.
Following their Champions League triumph, the former Paris Saint Germain have been rewarded for his good work with a contract extension which will see him remain until 2024.
Having met his target of top four finish and also adding the Uefa Champions League title to it, Thomas Tuchel have signed a new long term deal with Chelsea which ends in three years time.
The next target is for the manager to go into the transfer market and make good use of the money given to sign a good number 9 that can score goals ahead of next season fight for Premier League.
The Blues hired Thomas Tuchel January this year after struggling before they had to sack Frank Lampard who failed to make good use of the players he sign for over £250 million last summer window.
Since the arrival of the German International the club showed some tremendous growth which could have been more if they had good option upfront playing the number 9 role.
The team lacked scoring goals but it didn’t stop them from winning the Uefa Champions League after beating Manchester City 1-0 in the final with a goal from Kai Havertz in the first-half.
This new deal for Thomas Tuchel will go a long way in making sure the team come back next season hungry and looking to defend and win more trophies under the man who have shown so much quality.
